Disclaimer is a statement notice to the user. This can be when entering a certain page in a pop-up window or a static page, and/or when leaving the site.

The users must read the content and confirm the text.

Each type of disclaimer page has a different use. It can be for marketing content or to allow viewing for a dedicated audience only.

Static Disclaimer Page

  • Displayed as a static page (instead of a pop-up window).

  • Used to block page content viewing for certain audiences, such as HCP content (=Healthcare professional) against Patients (OTC) content, according to cookies duration time.

  • Contains entrance cards in a grid of 2 or 3 cards in a row (unlimited cards), each of which can lead to a different destination (not only to the current page).

  • It is possible to add a background image behind each card or keep a transparent background.

  • Each card can contain a title (mandatory), description (optional), form fields (optional) and the CTA button for the destination (mandatory).

  • Since it is a page and not a pop-up window, it can add to it header navigation/footer and additional information text.

HCP disclaimer pop-up

  • Displayed as a pop-up window, when entering the current page only.

  • The background color below this popup can be in different brand colors, by choice (primary color, secondary color, opaque black, blurred white).

  • Used to block viewing of page content for a certain audience, such as HCP content (=health professionals) against patient content (OTC), according to cookies duration time.

  • Contains one/ two screens, by choice. In addition, Title (mandatory), description (optional), 2 CTA button (mandatory).

  • CTA buttons position -
    • Two CTA buttons will be displayed on each of the screens.
    • The left button for HCP content to enter the current page, and the right button for non-HCP content (patient/ OTC) to leade the user to another destination.

  • On the second screen, can add form fields for mandatory filling by the user.

  • If this disclaimer popup is used on the product catalog search page, then the HCP button will lead to viewing all relevant products for both the HCP audience and the patient audience. The patient (non-HCP) button will lead to viewing the products only for patients (OTC).

Marketing disclaimer pop-up

  • Displayed as a pop-up window, when entering the current page or using a dedicated button for it.

  • The background color below this popup can be in different brand colors, by choice (primary color, secondary color, opaque black, blurred white).

  • Can lead the user to the current page or another destination.

  • Does not block the page viewing but is used as marketing information/message/content promotion.

  • Can appear according to cookies duration time or pop-up only once.

  • Contains one/ two screens, by choice. In addition, title (mandatory), description (optional), CTA button (mandatory).

  • Buttons position -
    • Marketing disclaimer one screen - one button will be displayed in the middle.
    • Marketing disclaimer two screens - the first screen will show one button in the middle which leads to the second screen. On the second screen, can add more than one button to each destination.

Pop-up bar alert message

  • Disclaimer text for short alert message on the top of the page, across the website pages which can be used as an alert.

  • The position can be above the top bar only.

  • This alert message can be displayed permanently or can be closed manually using the "X" button.
    After closing, this alert message will appear again when you re-enter the website.

Sticky Notice

  • Disclaimer text sticky panel at the bottom of the page for privacy policy information.

  • The sticky panel will be displayed permanently at the bottom of the page, even if we scroll the page up or down.

  • The panel can contain 2 narrow text columns, wide horizontal text, and full-width text.

  • The panel can be expanded by clicking on the plus icon (only for grid and horizontal types).

  • When scrolling the page to the bottom of the page, the sticky panel disappears; however, the full text on it is displayed on the page itself at the bottom, above the footer.
    When we return to the top of the page, the sticky panel is displayed again.

Exit page

  • Disclaimer text pops up to the users, when clicking on a link leading to external websites, that they leaving the current website.

  • The purpose of the message is to inform the users that the website they lead to might be by different regional policies and regulations.

  • The Exit disclaimer pop up contain: title (mandatory), message text (optional), CTA button (mandatory) which leads to the external link.

  • It is possible to close this pop-up by "X" button, to stay on the current site.

  • The text in this window is general for all external links, however, there is an option to exclude selected links. This when clicked, will not open this popup.
