Glossary

The glossary allows users to easily search and find detailed terms and information.

Finding the terms can be done using an alphabetical bar by language (optional to add) and/ or by search box for the term's name (optional to add).

  • Alphabetical bar - clicking on one of the letters of the alphabet will lead the user as an anchor to the section of terms starting with that letter.
  • Search box - displays a dropdown of all terms for quick access.

It is possible to pre-set the default view of the page, whether the definition terms will be collapsed or expanded. In any case, the items can be expanded and collapsed manually by clicking on each one.

In addition, clicking on "Show all definitions" toggle will allow the expansion of all terms at once.

  • Accordion

    The accordion is a vertical list of items to optimize screen space and improve user experience by presenting information in a compact and structured format.

    Each item can be expanded/collapsed manually and/or all at once.

  • Article Page

    Article page for content such as news, press releases, feature stories, blogs, etc.

    The article's structure includes a title, article image, meta data (date, reading time indication, taxonomy tags, author name, and author photo), introductory text, paragraph text, and the possibility of sharing the article on social networks.

    The content can be displayed on an Article page as well as an event page.

  • Back To Top Button

    Button added at the bottom of the page that allows quick navigation back to the top of the page.

  • Banner

    The banners are used as elements to convey information or specific messages.

    The banner can contain a call to action button to another destination

    The banners have a different background by choice and they can be displayed in full width or with margins.

  • Banner Dropdown Navigation

    Banner of navigation to content through a drop-down list of items.

    Clicking on an item from the drop-down list takes the user to a destination page.

  • Button

    Buttons are calls to action (CTA) which lead to another destination.

    The button can be stand-alone on the page, or as part of another component, such as a strip, card and banner.

  • Card (teaser box)

    Cards/ Teaser boxes are used for short information to promote content.

    The cards represent as many posts as possible in a small space, and can be displayed in a grid of 3 cards in a row, or 2 cards in a row. Also, inside a slider.

    The cards can contain images, titles, short descriptions, taxonomy tags and CTA buttons.

    The cards can be created manually or granted automatically from the website's content and articles pages.

  • CMS

    Optimizely Content Management System (CMS) provides powerful web content management capabilities, available through an intuitive user interface, letting experienced and occasional users work efficiently with content.

  • Component / Block/ Feature

    Built-in feature (element) for displaying functional and visual content on the websites.

    The component can also be called: block.

  • Contact Decision Tree

    Navigation component of three steps (columns): topic, category, answer.

    It is possible to add unlimited items to each step.
    The third item of the answer can be free text (rich text, a button leading to other knowledge) and/ or form.

    Disclaimer is a statement notice to the user. This can be when entering a certain page in a pop-up window or a static page, and/or when Exit leaving the site.

    The users must read the content and confirm the text.

    Each type of disclaimer page has a different use. It can be for marketing content or to allow viewing for a dedicated audience only.

  • Elastic Search

    Search engine for advanced options on the site, which allows auto-suggestion, searching for similar terms instead, in case of typos and displaying results using synonyms.

    The search engine scans and indexes the website pages on a daily basis and enables the collection of data for analysis and measurement according to search queries.

    The search on the site is possible by typing text in the search box located in the top bar, by clicking on the search button, and directly through the search results page.

  • Event Page

    The pop up apperas on clicking on a link leading to external websites
    The purpose of the message is to inform the users that the website they lead to might be by different regional policies and regulations.

    The text in this window is general for all external links, however, there is an option to exclude selected links.

  • FAQs

    Frequently Asked Questions - list of cards, which can be filtered by tags and search.

  • Footer Navigation

    Navigation links at the bottom of the website, which allow users to easily access different parts of the site or return to the top of the page.

    Additionally, include contact information, social media links, and other details that help users connect to the site or find additional resources.

    The footer includes links up to 3 columns. It can also display tiny cards (teases) and the website logo.

  • Footnotes reference marker

    Footnotes allow for references to additional sources. They can also be used to provide clarifications or details that would be too long or distracting to the reader if included in the main text.

    The markers can be added as part of the text in articles as well as on strips, which, when clicked on, lead to reading the references at the bottom of the page.

    The markers can also be coloured according to the brand.

  • Form

    Forms are used to fill in details and send them to a designated email box.

    The forms cover topics such as contacting us, reporting side effects/Adverse events, Registration, and more.

    The submit button sends the form details to the designated email.

  • Header (Top) Navigation/ Menu

    The website navigation menu includes links up to 3 levels and displays the website logo next to it.

    The menu can be horizontal or vertical, as desired.
    The horizontal contains up to 2 levels of links. That is, a main title and opening of only one level which will be displayed horizontally.
    The vertical contains up to 3 levels of column links, including branching to sub-links.

    The header navigation can be sticky or non-sticky, as desired.

    The header navigation can be permanently displayed on every page, different on certain pages, or hidden on certain pages.

    The header navigation Includes links in the top bar (Masthead Links) as well as buttons link.

  • Headers/ Titles

  • Infographic

    Infographic is a powerful way to communicate data, ideas and knowledge in a visual format.

    The template available on the websites is for Facts and Figures for global content of the corporate websites. Also, an infographic can be presented using a static image in a dedicated layout within an article page.

  • Lobby page

    The lobby page is an overview of article/event cards in a grid of 3 cards in a row.

    The page can contain a filtering bar by categories and sorting the cards.
    The cards on this page are automatically generated according to articles. The display can be from all over the site or only from those created in the navigation tree below this page.

    The cards displayed on styles: Story, Story_Neutral, News, Events and contributors.

  • Location Selector (select websites)

    Select countries/websites for quick access via links, with optional identification based on your IP location.

    The page contains an alphabetical bar and website links by region.

  • Multilingual Websites

    Each website can have a single local language content and/or be multilingual/bilingual, while containing one live domain.

    Switching between website languages ​​is done using a language code in the top bar.
    The visuals for the users will be the same between the websites in different languages.

  • Organization Overview (Organogram)

    Organizational structure of the company.

    The page contains profile cards, with the top being the head of the Organization and the others below it at the same level of role.

    PDF view as a digital document experience.

    The PDF viewer can be used in a presentation window and with a button, which displays a full window to provide a focused view.

  • Pharmacy/Store Locator

    Locating stores and pharmacies, based on a Google map according to the coordinates of a selected region of the country.

    The map can detect your location and show the places closest to you (if your device has location services enabled).

    The locations will be shown on the map as pins. Clicking on each will open a card with details.

  • Pipeline

    Page to describe pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical products that are in development at various stages of clinical trials, research, or regulatory review.

    The pipeline contains categories (Legend), marked with color and sections for phases. In addition, the phases can be filtered by buttons and by topics.

  • Pop Navigation

    Navigation of button links to be displayed in a small bar that pops up for quick access to them.

    The component is sticky when scrolling down and up the page and is available on the right side of the screen.

  • Sticky Notice

    Sticky panel of disclaimer text at the bottom of the page for privacy policy information.

    The sticky panel notice will be permanently displayed at the bottom of the page, even if we scroll the page up or down. The panel can contain 2 narrow columns of text, wide horizontal text and full width text.

    When scrolling to the bottom of the page, the sticky panel disappears; However, its full text is displayed on the page itself at the bottom, above the footer.

  • Strip

    Strips are used to promote and highlight content.

    The tab panel is a navigation component for organizing content using separate tabs.

    It allows the users to move between different sections or views within one space.
    This tab panel can have a white/dark background. Also, include up to 6 tabs.

    Component that allows content and data to be displayed in table layout.

    It is possible to add unlimited columns to the table.
    If the table exceeds the width of the screen, then arrow indicators will be added at the bottom of it.

    Dynamic component for displaying milestones/steps using a timeline,
    which includes variations of the moment image.

    The sections contain items of image and text next to it and / or video and text next to it.

    Video Player for content engagement.

    The Video Player component supports YouTube, and Vimeo channels.
    The video can be displayed as a stand-alone component/ inside strip/ as part of a video collection.

    Some videos show default custom posters, which can be added manually, or taken from the video channels.

    The video can be played by clicking on the play button and/ or auto-play.
